LICENCE AND TERMS

Single-site use. Buying a set licenses you to build the house once, on one site that you own or control. The licence is not transferable with the drawings alone.

Second build. Building the house again — a second site, a second unit, a spec pair — needs a second licence. Write to us and we quote it. [ to confirm: repeat-build licence fee ]

Sharing the files. You may share the set with your builder, engineer, subcontractors, lender and permit authority for the purpose of building your house. You may print as many copies as that work needs.

Not permitted. Reselling, publishing, licensing or distributing the drawings, or using them to produce a competing plan for sale. Copyright in the design and the drawings stays with KVN Studios, LLC.

Modification rights. You and your professionals may adapt the set for your site, your code and your preferences. Adapted drawings are yours to build from; the underlying design remains ours, and modified sets may not be resold.

No stamp, no warranty of code compliance. The set is not sealed by an architect or engineer for your jurisdiction, and we do not warrant that it satisfies any particular code edition, energy standard or local ordinance. Reservations. No payment is taken to reserve a set, so there is nothing to refund. Cancel any time before release by replying to your confirmation email.

After download. Plan sets are delivered as digital files. Once the download has been issued the sale is final. [ to confirm: any grace window you want to offer ]

Planning-set credit. The full $1,500 planning-set price credits against the $3,500 building set. The credit does not expire and is not redeemable for cash.

What we collect. When you reserve a set: your first name, last name, email address and which set you chose. Nothing else, and no payment details.

What we do with it. We write to you about your reservation and the release. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to unrelated marketing.

Who else sees it. The services that send our email and host this site. [ to confirm: name the email and hosting providers ]

Removal. Write to hello@kvnhome.com and we delete your reservation and your details.

The product. A digital architectural drawing set, delivered as PDF. Prices are in US dollars: planning set $1,500, building set $3,500.

Delivery. Valley Home sets ship October 2026. Reservations are filled in the order they were made.

What the buyer is responsible for. Local adaptation, structural engineering, energy compliance, permit application and review, site work, and everything built from the drawings.

Limitation of liability. Our liability is limited to the price paid for the set. We are not liable for construction costs, delays, permit outcomes or consequential loss. [ to confirm: wording reviewed by counsel ]
